I’m an independent data consultant with a passion for helping businesses unlock the value of their data. Drawing on six years of data and analytics experience in the insurance industry, I’ve developed a holistic understanding of how data can influence every facet of a business and impact overall strategy. I apply a data product management mindset to help clients tackle a variety of problems within their analytics pipeline. From defining business problems and KPIs, to setting up infrastructure to support analytics, to creating and streamlining reports that inform business decisions - I’m here to help with every part of the process!
Prior to my career in analytics, I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management (2015) from the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), a world-renown hotel school based in Switzerland. In addition to a business-oriented course load, EHL provided me with my first real-world consulting projects, where I applied business frameworks to solve actual problems.
Throughout my work experience, I’ve built an arsenal of technical skills to battle data-specific issues, accruing a coding proficiency in SQL, Python, and R. I’m also familiar with other products commonly found in modern tech stacks: data warehousing (AWS Redshift, MongoDB), ETL tools (FiveTran), business intelligence apps (Looker, PowerBI, Shiny), and CRM systems (Saleforce.com, Hubspot).
In addition to my freelance work, I love supporting the online open-source community. In the past, I’ve partnered with amazing groups like R-Ladies, Women Who Code, and Workshops for Ukraine to share my knowledge of data viz design and to help others develop their technical skills.
